Her journey in birth work began as a certified birth and postpartum doula and breastfeeding counselor in 2015. Shortly after she also became a birth assistant and began working alongside midwives in home, and birth center births. The more she learned about the process a woman’s body endures throughout and after pregnancy, the more intrigued she became. After reading various research papers and studies about placenta consumption she realized the benefits were outstanding, and that every mother should have the opportunity to learn about these life changing benefits as well.
She soon became a certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, receiving Blood borne Pathogens and OSHA’s Safe Food Handling Certifications. After founding YB3 Doula Services and Your Body Your Birth Your Baby in 2016 she began servicing Mama’s with placenta encapsulation services all throughout Miami Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Port St. Lucie Counties.
She is fluent in English and Spanish and has a background in nursing, midwifery and psychology. She believes that every birthing person deserves to experience the amazing benefits of placenta encapsulation.
