This policy explains what information Your Body Your Birth Your Baby collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

The contact form on this website asks for your name, phone number, email address and a message. We receive only what you type into it. If you call, text or email us directly, we receive what you choose to share that way.

Please do not use the website form for a medical emergency or to send detailed medical records. In an emergency, call 911 or your health care provider.

How we use it

We use the information you send to reply to you, answer your questions, and arrange and provide the services you ask us about. We do not use it for anything else.

We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. This website runs no advertising, remarketing or social media tracking.

Service providers

A few companies help us run this website. Each handles information only to provide its service:

  • Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, its servers process ordinary request information such as your IP address and browser type.
  • Mailgun delivers contact form messages to our email inbox. Messages that our spam filter flags may be reviewed by the web developer who maintains this site instead.
  • Google reCAPTCHA helps keep automated spam out of the contact form (see Cookies below). Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Google Translate: if you choose the Spanish (Español) option, the page text is sent to Google's translation service to be translated.
  • Google Fonts, jsDelivr and BootstrapCDN supply the fonts, icons and some code the pages use, so your browser requests files from them when a page loads.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising tracker, and our own pages set no cookies. The only cookie involved comes from Google reCAPTCHA, which loads on pages with the contact form:

  • _GRECAPTCHA (set by Google on google.com): used by reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated bots. Lasts about 6 months.
  • _grecaptcha (stored in your browser's local storage for this site): also used by reCAPTCHA for bot detection. It stays until you clear your browser data.

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop the contact form from sending; you can always call, text or email us instead. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choices

Security

This website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive details through the form.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
